The research on jobs and careers deals with what might be termed “the development domain.” It encompasses those elements of the world that constitute the topic of jobs and careers. The development domain may be thought of as being differentiated from other domains (the application domain, the interview domain, the domain of employment) since it comprises specific aspects of enterprises – such as the personal or group activity that is most tightly related to the achievement and use of the significant essentials of welfare or individual conduct as a link between various methods with complementary uses.
